What is the difference between wide-bore tips and standard tips?

The pipette tips bore is 70% larger than that of the standard tips. It is suitable for large molecule liquid transfer operation, and also provides convenience for the transfer of fragile cell line specimens.

So the wide bore pipette tips is best choice if you pipetted followed substances:

1. Fragile cell lines (such as macrophages, hybridoma cells, hepatocytes and other cell samples)

2. The DNA of the genome

3. Other viscous substances

If the above samples are pipetted with ordinary tips , the sample will be damaged by mechanical shear force at the outlet of pipette tips when it passes through the narrow bore tips, resulting in cell damage or even rupture.
