Paraffin Gauze

Short Description:

Paraffin gauze is a fine mesh, absorbent gauze impregnated with vaseline, designed to provide a moist environment for wounds and promote the healing process. It can be applied to the wound as a primary dressing. Paraffin gauze is used to prevent the secondary dressing from adhering to the wound site while a secondary dressing swab such as gauze absorbs exudates.
